On October 9th, 2021, the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has handed over the grant of 15 million VND to Nguyen Thi Huong H.'s family via the Community Service Department of the National Hospital of Acupuncture. This was the amount donated by 2887 benefactors through Momo E-Wallet on the birthday anniversary of the "Piggy Bank for Charity" (Heo Đất Từ Thiện).
8-year-old Nguyen Thi Huong H. was born in a family with a difficult situation in Phuc Tho, Hanoi. Her parents are both farmers with unstable incomes. In July 2020, after having a fever for 2 days, H. started to develop symptoms of eye droop, fatigue, and lethargy. She was then taken by her family to be examined and treated at Saint Paul Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital. Her condition, with the appearance of respiratory failure and sepsis, continued to get worse. After that, she was transferred to the National Hospital of Acupuncture. On the first few days of the treatment, H. had to be fed through the sonde tube. She was diagnosed with sequelae of encephalitis/quadriplegia resulting from viral fever. Received the shocking news of his daughter being paralyzed, H.'s father suffered from mild depression, that along with his heart disease as well as blood-pressure-related health problem, he could not go out to work. The financial burden of the whole family was fully put on the mother's shoulders.

Receiving the donation from the Community Service Department, H.'s mother emotionally shared "Our family can't say anything other than expressing our thankfulness to the VSF. The donation would help us a lot in affording H.'s treatment."
We sincerely appreciate Momo E-Wallet's effort in accompanying and supporting VSF to carry out the campaign. VSF would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the benefactors who have contributed to the success of this campaign and help improve the living condition of H.
